Overview
The name speaks for itself. This board is not for the faint hearted. Designed for barrels and slabs, the concept behind the Dragon Slayer is to get in early, make the big drop with ease, pump in the tube, hold your line and get spat out of the other end. We also have found it performs great on an open face.
The key elements of the Dragon Slayer are the thickness under the chest. It’s generally 1/8-1/4 of an inch thicker in this area then your average board. This is a huge factor when it comes to paddling. However the tail is a different story all together, being totally opposite, with it being thinner then most boards under the back foot. This is great for holding speed and sensitivity under the back foot. The Dragon Slayer has a nice medium rocker with a slightly flatter entry. You can ride the dragon slayer 1/8 thicker then your average board as it has lower rails for hold. Going thicker in the centre will increase paddle power and enhance speed. The dragon slayer is the ultimate board for the slab hunter or a great step up board for a guy who needs a little extra paddle power.
Ride the dragon slayer 0-4 inches longer same width but 1/8 thicker then your normal board.
